Dangers to Reefs



It is estimated that 10% of the world's coral reefs have already been destroyed, we have to help save them as it is a important ecosystem, a home for many fishes! In the next few post, the reasons will be given:

*Cyanide fishing:

Fishermen stun tropical fish by squirting cyanide into the reefs. This technique enables them to capture live fish for aquariums. However, in the process, the cyanide poisons both the reef and many of the invertebrate species living in its ecosystem.

Cyanide is a highly poisonous substance.
